On the 9th of June 2025 a snap rally was organised after ‘the Global Sumud Flotilla’ or ‘Freedom Flotilla’ was intercepted in international waters by the israeli defence force. The flotilla had garnered worldwide attention when well known activist Greta Thunberg announced she would be joining them. The interception subsequently caused global outrage.
